Biko Wielage

I am studying biology and medical laboratory research. During my education I followed a minor in bioinformatics. Now I am an intern at the laboratory of Dr. Zamani at the clinical genetics department at MUMC+. I like to combine wetlab with drylab, that’s why I am doing some experiments and the data analysis. Because the methylation of DNA plays an important role in the development of certain diseases, I am developing a new technique for the diagnostics of these diseases correlating methylated DNA.
